Army Wehrmacht officer dagger by Eickhorn, Solingen. The blade remains in perfect condition and retains lots of its original crossgraining. The reverse of the blade has a crisply etched maker mark of Eickhorn from Solingen, one of the bigger manufacturers. The scabbard fittings are perfect and tight, with attractive age toning. The detail on the German national eagle and swastika emblem on the crossguard are perfect, small sign of wear. Beautiful yellow grip retains in mint condition without cracks or any damage at all. Very thick patina all over it. The original pebbled leather scabbard buffer remains intact, and all of the fittings are tight. The scabbard is a perfect match to the dagger.
