A well-preserved SS portepee for an NCO’s Degen, consisting of a stylized silver aluminum wire acorn interspersed with black threading, topped by a black threaded cupule, emanating from a non-magnetic metal stem which in turn connects to a silver aluminum wire cord trimmed along both edges with machine-embroidered black tresses, unmarked, measuring 40 cm in total length, demonstrating only minor material fatigue, in extremely fine condition.
