Polish Officer's Dagger wz. 1924/37 with Scabbard Designed for officers and senior non-commissioned officers of the Air Force, Armored Forces, Motorized, Anti-Aircraft, and Automotive Artillery, as well as Heavy Artillery. Total length 34 cm, steel blade, nickel-plated, 23 cm long, decorated with an acanthus leaf pattern, a coat of arms, and the inscription "Honor i Ojczyzna" (Honor and Fatherland). At the base, on the inner side, there is an embossed manufacturer’s mark: G. Borowski. The hilt has a rectangular pommel with a mushroom-shaped nut, decorated with a laurel leaf motif, a straight crossguard ending in hexagonal protrusions with raised studs, and a ring above the guard also adorned with laurel leaves. The entire hilt is made of white metal. The scabbard is metal, covered with black leather, with fittings made of silvered white metal. The throat, along with the suspension band and movable ring in the lower part, is decorated with a laurel leaf pattern, and the second band is similarly decorated. The chape is flat-cut, ending in a missing metal knob, with the upper part also featuring a laurel ornament. Scabbard length 25.5 cm. The dagger is in excellent, near-perfect condition and is a highly desirable item for collectors.
