The reverse side features a straight flat vertical pin assembly and retains 95% of its original matte silver finish. The pin is marked with the LDO manufacturer’s code “65” (Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein).
The condition of the case is near perfect, with a typical black grained faux leather finish and a silver War Merit Cross on the lid.
The interior lid of the case is made of white satin, with the manufacturer’s name printed in the corner. The base is lined with black velvet. The outer cardboard packaging is damaged, but the label on top is still present.
