An original WW2 Heer K-98 Long Dress Bayonet by Eickhorn, the blade is nickel plated with the makers mark “Eickhorn Solingen” for the manufacturer logo of Eickhorn in Solingen on the ricasso.  The handle has a bakelite grip with a nice nickel finish on the guard and pommel, complete with red felt in the rifle slot.  The scabbard retains a nice glossy black finish with no dents, which sits nicely in the black leather frog and infantry portepee.  Overall the K98 dress bayonet, scabbard, and frog are  in very good condition.
